Recruitment Process
Applying for a Position
Open positions at Everest Charter School can be found on www.teachers-teachers.com. Applicants who are interested in applying for a position at Everest Charter should view the positions posted on teachers-teachers.com and should submit their resume for the position they are interested in.
Evaluating Candidates
Upon receipt of an applicant’s cover letter and/or application for employment, the applicant’s qualifications will be evaluated against our current staffing needs. If it is determined that the applicant’s information matches our needs, the applicant will be contacted via email or telephone.
Initial Contact
Qualified applicants will be contacted via telephone or email for an initial screening and introduction. During that time, the applicant may be invited to meet with the school’s administrators in order to determine the level of mutual interest. Applicants who are applying for an instructional position may be asked to provide a presentation during their visit. If the initial visit does not yield all of the necessary information needed to make a decision, the applicant may be invited back to Everest Charter for subsequent visits.
In cases where an applicant is located out of state, the applicant may asked to supply references, transcript, diploma, and certification status, before making travel arrangements for a visit to the school.
Hiring
Following the initial meeting(s), the interview team will make a decision regarding an offer of employment. If the team decides to pursue a potential offer, the applicant’s references, background and certification may be checked. If satisfactory references are obtained, the interview team may offer the applicant the position.
